How can we help?
- We’ll help with pick-up from local trains and buses if requested
in advance.
We’ll arrange for pick-up from more distant points with
a local limousine business at your expense. We recognize that people
will be arriving at different times. Snacks will be available to
help carry guests over till the next meal; or if dinner has been
missed some level of accommodation will be made. Nothing is worse
than going out to dinner after traveling all day when what you
really want to do is settle in. Children’s food and snacks will
always be available as necessary.
- In some instances, the bride’s family and the groom’s family may
not have
even met yet. We can arrange for a very comfortable,
amiable family get-together/buffet for approximately thirty people
(more if outdoors) during or after the wedding rehearsal. Rehearsal
dinners are more comfortable where people can mix rather than being
limited to a restaurant table with one person on each side. We use
an excellent, experienced Culinary Institute trained caterer who can
accommodate differing tastes and price ranges.
- Often brothers and sisters of the bride and groom have children
they don’t
want to leave at home but who really aren’t old enough to
go to a wedding or may not be invited. Depending on the number of
children involved, we will arrange for sufficient babysitters and/or
mother’s helpers as well as provide playthings and crafts so that
parents can attend wedding rehearsals, rehearsal dinners and the
wedding. We’ll help these guests lessen the load they need to bring.
Accommodation of teen interests can most likely be worked out as
well -- preferably with advance notice.
- Older relatives may require a little more attention than the
bride and groom
can easily give on their big day/weekend. We make
the needs and health of our guests a priority. Go ahead and invite
Great Aunt Millie. We have NO PROBLEM taking special needs into
consideration, including but not limited to airport pickup, special
diets, stair avoidance, naps, running to the pharmacy or obtaining
delivery, early pick-up from reception, early rising and early
breakfast
Cost: $1500 for up to ten guests; 3:00 pm
Friday arrival; 7:00 pm Sunday departure; breakfast and light meals
included; Additional for extra services including sitters, limo
pick-ups, etc. NOTE: Parents are responsible for evaluating premises
on arrival to determine if any extra safety measures need to be taken
to protect their children. They also must take the time to speak to
sitters to determine if they are fit be with their children. * * *
